Schilthorn Adventure
We went up to Schilthorn today, a summit where they filmed a James Bond movie. It was overcast so the view wasn't great, but the trip was worth it. It took three cable car rides and several trains to get there. There was an unexpected moment at the summit when three people gave an impromptu yodeling session! It was beautiful. We talked to them a little. Actually, Doug talked to them because they spoke no English. The one man is 87 and has yodeled since he was 5. The woman is his daughter.

Even though it drizzled much of the day, we enjoyed walking through the village of Lauterbrunnen to the Staubbachfalls in the morning. On the way back, still in the drizzle, we wandered through the small town of Murren.
By the time we were walking to our hotel from the train station, the sun came out. A little late, but much appreciated.
