Bergen

Our ship docked in Bergen, Norway’s second largest city, at 2:30 this afternoon. Its good to be out wandering a city again, after 30 hours onboard. The cruise was a nice break, but I was really ready to get back to our urban hiking.

Parts of the city are on a steep hill. We rode the Floibanen, a funicular, up the hill for spectacular views from above. It was fun to see goats keeping the hillside clean.
(It's a little hard to see, but at the end of this beautiful alley, there is a Burger King.
(This piece of street art might be vaguely familiar. It's a play on a photo from the Vietnam War. Spray bottle and flower in place of the original gun.)

An observation about Sweden and Norway: every town or city we've been in has been wonderfully diverse.
